Passover is here again, but for many teens, this holiday of "freedom" feels like a distant reality.

Two years ago they left home — they were promised quiet.

"COVID was here, the first war was here, and we refuse to remain foolish, obtuse, or complacent; we must look back and draw lessons."

ELEM reports an increase in requests to support hotlines and centers, alongside a worsening of risky behaviors and mental distress under the shadow of the war—including rising anxiety levels and substance use.

The organization is “literally out there every single day, doing work that matters, that saves and changes lives,” said Jewish podcaster Jonah Platt.
