With this weeks tragic news about Shirel Golan, supporting survivors is more important than ever. A third of Nova survivors -approximately 1,200 young people- and countless more from the South, are not receiving the care they desperately need, with devastating results.
ELEM has been working with Yated, the Ministry of Welfare, and the Tribe of Nova to build a specialized program identify and support young survivors of October 7th who are falling through the cracks and demonstrating extreme risk.
Anashim Tovim, ELEM’s harm reduction team, along with ELEM digital outreach experts, will actively seek out survivors in need. Our professionals, experienced in trauma and substance-abuse related issues, are committed to forming meaningful, personal bonds with survivors and guiding them towards healing. More information about this incredible program will be release soon.
In the meantime, we continue to work closely with our team in Israel to support our programs in the North. Learn more at elem.org/donate.
