We are so excited to announce this year’s LifeSaver Award recipients – Rabbi Sara Sapadin and Dan Sapadin and Gal Gadot!
Dan and Sara Sapadin have supported ELEM for over a decade. Their contributions and dedication to our mission are immeasurable. They most recently visited our newest program – Orshina in Jerusalem. This first-of-its-kind center treats teenage boys and young men who suffered sexual violence in their childhood.
Gal Gadot has done so much for Israel behind the scenes, as well as promoting social change, as evident in her National Geographic mini-series, Impact. The series follows the powerful stories of six women who are making an extraordinary impact on their communities around the world, despite living in areas marred by violence, poverty, trauma, discrimination, oppression, and natural disasters.
The LifeSaver Award, previously awarded to Rachel Bloom and Fran Drescher, to name a few, is a humanitarian award given yearly to recognize an exceptional individual or individuals who exemplify dedication and commitment to alleviating suffering and inhumane treatment of youth, social inequality, and intolerance.
We’re proud to have such worthy recipients.
Join us for our 40th Anniversary Ray of Hope Benefit on October 12th in New York City.
