Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, and American Friends of ELEM is wearing blue in solidarity with the movement to end trafficking and exploitation.
Shout out to the ELEM Florida Chapter, ELEM:NextGen, and our CEO for showing up strong on #WearBlueDay!
In Israel, over 4,000 youth are estimated to be victims of human trafficking every year. ELEM supports hundreds of these youths through shelters and day centers, offering life-saving resources and hope to survivors impacted by trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.
Our staff regularly participate in Knesset hearings, run professional trainings, and publish cutting-edge research on the status of youth in order to effect lasting change in Israel.
Show your support by adding to the #WearBlueDay hashtag and tagging @elem_USA, and learn more about our work with survivors here. Thank you for standing with ELEM youth!
