Did you know our COO Liora was an at-risk youth herself? Our friends at Covenant House helped Liora when she was struggling. Today she is paying it forward by doing the same and helping thousands of at-risk youth across Israel.
We were so excited to see her take the stage at the Covenant House New Jersey benefit and share her remarkable story.
Liora shared that she experienced homelessness when she pregnant at the age of 18. With the support of the staff at covenant house she turned her life around. She noted that they enabled her to dream of what she could be.

Liora’s story is similar to that of many ELEM youth who experience homelessness or other types of distress rebuild their lives with ELEM’s help. We are so proud to have someone like Liora leading our organization. She is a role model to all of our youth and is living proof that by reaching out with love and compassion youth can get off the streets and on to life.
