On April 12th, our friends at ELEM Israel, along with Enosh-The Israeli Mental Health Association will be hosting a side event as part of the 64th Session of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
This event will present the vital intersection of mental health and substance abuse and highlight the need for a wide variety of community-based services, especially amid COVID-19. The focus will be given to differences in proactive approaches among youth and young adults.
Co-sponsors and speakers will be from the World Health Organization, JCFS Chicago, Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. , and Israel’s permanent mission to the U.N.
