Bayit Amiti
Sexual Assault Services
Bayit Amiti is a therapeutic community for young women ages 16–26 who have experienced sexual violence. Located in Tel Aviv, the program welcomes participants from across Israel, providing them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment in which to heal.
Many of these young women live with deep feelings of shame, guilt, anger, and mistrust following their trauma. Bayit Amiti offers them not only a roof and routine but also emotional guidance, belonging, and hope. The program’s holistic approach helps participants rebuild their sense of self, reduce emotional distress, and regain the confidence to reintegrate into healthy, supportive frameworks.
Bayit Amiti currently operates in Herzliya.
Bayit Amiti serves young women who have survived sexual abuse and seek a safe space to rebuild their lives.
Participants come from diverse communities and backgrounds throughout Israel, including those who have faced multiple forms of marginalization. Many arrive after years of silence or distrust of traditional systems. ELEM provides each woman with trauma-informed, individualized care—ensuring that healing unfolds in an environment of dignity, privacy, and unconditional support.
The staff and volunteers at Bayit Amiti receive specialized training in trauma-focused therapy, enabling them to respond with sensitivity to the complex emotional needs of survivors of sexual violence.
