ELEM-Entry NY Mission Statement
The mission of ELEM-Entry NY, the Young Leadership of ELEM-Youth in Distress in New York, is to raise funds and awareness to ELEM’s activity in Israel, by producing innovative and vibrant events engaging the young professionals of Israeli and American Jewish communities in the Tri-State area.
Our leadership focuses on providing effective help to distressed teenagers in Israel while inspiring our local community to increase humanitarian and philanthropic involvement.
The community provides each of its members a platform to grow socially, creatively and professionally by taking an active part in this cause.
The ELEM-Entry NY Board:
Nitzan Levy
Chairwoman and Chair of Social Media
I am a part of the ELEM-Entry NY community because:
Until this day I was Born, raised, moved, moved back, studied, counseled, worked, managed, established, owned, joined, quit, got laid off, volunteered, learned, taught, sang, sailed, dove, traveled, experienced, met, talked, read, wrote, loved, smiled, smelled, tasted, listened, heard, saw, sensed, enjoyed.
But it seems that I just can’t get enough of this life. I’m here to pay it forward!

ELEM-Entry NY is a great opportunity for me to raise awareness for a meaningful, important cause. Around us, there are many young individuals who need guidance and support. I believe it is our duty and privilege to take responsibility and reach out to them, by helping to create better circumstances.

Rinat Israelovich
Chair of Internal Relations & Motivation
I am a part of the ELEM-Entry NY community because:
As an Educator and a mentor in Israel, I have witnessed the great challenges that our Youth face everyday. It is a lack of finances that necessarily leads to these challenges, but rather a lack of support, guidance and leadership. These children need someone to believe in them, in their abilities and dreams. They need the human to human interaction. They need to be acknowledged and heard. They need to be empowered! I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this pure cause. I raise awareness in order to keep the ELEM projects and volunteers active for the sake of the children. I am proud to be part of a community that is whole-heartedly committed to doing good! I am proud to be a part of this remarkable, soulful group called ELEM-Entry!
Together We Make A Difference!

Shiri Jakobovitz
Chair of Elem Israel Liaison
I am a part of the ELEM-Entry NY community because:
My father taught me that in order to help a person in need you don’t necessarily have to be wealthy; you just need to open your heart. He always striven to do good for others who were less fortunate and did it with not many resources but only with the goodness of his heart and his compassion for fellow-men. When I was introduced with ELEM-Entry’s goals and values I felt like I am at home, among family. I discovered a group of very ambitious people that found the place in their hearts and the time in their busy schedules to give back to the country and society we all care so much for. I found that helping the youth gives me the satisfaction of not just helping someone in need but of giving people back their dreams, their wishes, their future…

Because to give is to love and to love is to give. Because it feels good to do something meaningful in this world. And mostly – because I want to and because I can.

Chair of MarketingI am a part of the ELEM-Entry NY community because:
I’m happy with my life but I know that not everyone is as blessed as I am, and I believe that a little bit of help with a lot of love might be able to change that. I’m volunteering in a field that I love with a group that I’m proud to call A Family. Our work doesn’t take much of me but it gives a lot to someone else. When I’m there- I feel as if I’m home and that’s a lot when you are far away from home. Email Shiri S.: shiri@elem-entry.org
