I knew that this mission is going to be uncomplete...
I would like to add to the long "Thank you" list Assaf Yogev of nine99design (http://blog.nine99design.com/) graphic design studio - for designing our invitation and the beautiful posters for the event.
Another special thank to Oded Hod's Family - in specific Shelly, Lilach and Sasha - for supporting and helping this event happen year after year with your passion for art! Thanks!

Just wanted to add a few things, Nitzan and i spoke on the following day and i think we both felt our perspective had changed.

It was a life changing experience that won't leave me alone. knowing the cycle these kids are experiencing and understanding its pure pain makes you carry it within you.

Realizing you are fighting many years of abuse that result in a very low self esteem. Rotem explained, that some of these kids are extremely talented but do not realize it.

Daniel mentioned "A Real Home" which is a house in Ramat Gan that assists females victims of sexual assault and incest. He told us of a case where the victim is now 25 (!!!) still lives at home and is still sexually abused by a family member (!!!) few times a week!

"A Real Home" provides her a few hours a day away from hell.

Understanding the persistence of evil only makes you realize it's a long term commitment to make a difference. The fundamentals of the abuse are deeply in the victim's DNA. Changes are going to occur slowly and gradually.

Another issue we discussed - i call it the "blurriness of definition". Some of these kids who are prostitutes don't even realize - that's what they are doing. Their reality is so twisted. Rotem explained a new phenomenon called "Singor" . Meaning these kids think that they are actually gaining from their status because they get an 'I -phone" or "denim" out of the whole thing. All of their moral values had corrupted.

How can you help someone solve a problem when they don't realize they have one...?!

On a more optimistic note, i am writing these lines while i'm in Israel and yesterday a bill proposal was discussed in the Knesset (Israel's parliament) banning advertisements of prostitution, massage parlor and offering sex services on the internet. They want to increase significantly the punishments and they hope that now the police will enforce the law. For those of you who want to know more about it, i am adding a link (sorry, but it's in Hebrew) http://portal.knesset.gov.il/Com11women/he-IL/Messages/4111.htm
